After the invention of agriculture we have had two paradigms that have fundamentally changed the way of producing food:
1. The use of chemical products, which was established last century, motivated among other things by the capacity to produce fertilizers and
2. The biological technology that is being implemented in the present. Both have allowed us to be more efficient in the production of food and thus be able to meet the supply needs of an increasingly growing and more urban population.
Chemical technology has had harmful consequences to the environment and health; Biological technology is friendlier, more natural, with less environmental and health impact.
Self Reliance Kit is a knowledge management project within a community, it is not about selling a proprietary prototype. Knowledge is everything and anyone can join and collaborate, use, test and share. A smarter way to improve World.
To eradicate hunger a culture of self-sufficiency and knowledge is necessary, which reinforces this primary sector.
And because knowledge is the most important thing, Self Reliance Kit must use clean, natural, ecological and economically viable methods. We apply known physical principles with those same characteristics:
Cooling by acceleration and air pressure change. Principle of continuity, Venturi effect and Joule-Thomson effect.

The Joule-Thomson effect says among other things that when air expands it cools. when the air leaves our semi-closed lips, it undergoes a rapid decompression. Being at less pressure, in addition, it “absorbs” the surrounding air, which mixes with the air that is coming out of our mouth and shoots out towards where our breath is pointing.
